Dr. Terry Galloway: EI Member, Chief Executive VP Waste-to-Energy Systems, President of Intellergy, Corp., Vice President Medergy, Corp., and distinguished scientist/ chemical engineer, inventor of the advanced steam reforming for waste conversion to hydrogen-rich syngas. He has high-level management experience in various forms of process and chemical engineering and chemistry in major companies and the University of California, Berkeley. He is co-inventor of the E-Microsystem systems and utility modules for buildings. He holds many patents. His doctorate is in chemical engineering. Dr. Galloway is co-inventor of EI’s patents.   Dr. Patrick Grimes: EI Member Investor, Chief Energy Systems Research, President of Patrick Grimes, Associates, (Deceased, now represented by his son John Grimes, ME) was an internationally recognized expert in fuel cells, fuels, batteries, and chemical processes. His experience and background encompassed electrical, agricultural, mining, metallurgical equipment companies, chemical, petrochemical, petroleum and alternative energy. His international technology transfer activities combined with university professorships, international and national committees in energy conversion and storage attest to his remarkable innovative abilities. His doctorate was in chemistry. After a long tenure at Exxon Research and Engineering he established a consultancy in energy, on advanced fuel cells and system development. John is filing his father’s new commercializable fuel cell patent; a new chief is to be determined.  Pat discovered the work of Dr. George A. Olah, Nobel Laureate for Chemistry 1994: Air Pollutants to Endless Methanol.  In Memorium EI, LLC is naming its new design EI-GOD Grimes Operational Atmospheric Pollution Methanol Conversion Device in his Honor.                                                                            

  Jay B. Laskin:  EI VP, Fuel Cells and Related Components Research is President of HyEnergy Consulting, LLC, Baltimore MD. An enterprise to provide technical, sales, and marketing expertise related to a wide variety of hydrogen businesses, products and usage. Products and services include reports and studies on closed-end topics of specific hydrogen technologies and applications and market conditions, competitors and business plans in the field of hydrogen generation and usage.  Jay retired from Teledyne Energy Systems Inc. as Director of Marketing and Sales. He was responsible for all commercial / industrial product sales, and overall engineering services. Jay developed worldwide distribution and sales networks. He has extensive experience with development and application engineering, manufacturing, scheduling, quality control, and financial management. Jay traveled and conducted business in Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, India, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Middle East, Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and the USA. He was Manager of Customer Service where he created and organized customer and field service groups. Previously was he was Manager of Mechanical Design for Allis Chalmers and Systems Engineer for NASA. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the U. of Wisconsin and Certificate of Marketing Strategy from JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Teledyne’s Financial Mgmt.

Joseph Clinton: CEO Polymodular, Ltd., and Clinton International Design Consultants. He was the coordinator of design technology programs at Kean University for 14 years, director of engineering / design scientists with Spitz Inc. where he was responsible for the engineering of spherical planetarium and space theater screens and aerospace flight simulation equipment. He was co-founder of 3-D Structures, Inc., a leading design and manufacturer of aerospace flight simulation equipment. He retired from a world leader in visual displays, a British firm, SEOS, Ltd., as a design scientist. He serves on the board of the Buckminster Fuller Institute, the advisory board of RBF Dome, and is one of the founders and president of Synergetics Collaborative, a not-for-profit association of synergeticists.   Bonnie Horner –Mueller (Cherokee) and Fred J. Mueller, CEO Vidisolutions, Inc.: EI Member Investors, Senior Telecommunications Consultants, was president and chairman of FreBon International.  She has in-depth experience in providing advanced specialized communications equipment to the intelligence community. She is regarded as a rising star entrepreneur of the telecommunications, video-conferencing, telemedicine communities, having guided her company early to a Fortune 500 position. She is now a telecommunications investor in Florida.

  Laura Filbert Zacher: EI Member, CEO Advanced Renewable Energy Systems, LLC  (ARES, LLC) , Vice President of Economic Development at EI, President of Smart Future, LLC (SF, LLC). SF, LLC specializes in resource conservation and government sales. Laura has managed many projects in the St. Louis region, MO, and VA. She has deep experience in tax increment financing and business improvement districts.  Her project management work includes economic impact analyses, contract negotiation and management for construction of convention and hotel tourism infrastructure, industrial corridor redevelopment, military base closures, brownfield redevelopment, neighborhood redevelopment, and comprehensive planning for cities. She worked with the Missouri Department of Economic Development, City of Portsmouth, VA, and City of St. Louis, MO. She served on the board of directors for the international Community Development Society.  Laura’s master’s degree is in community development from the University of MO.  She pursued post-graduate studies in economics.

  Dr. Juris Kalejs: EI Member Investor, Chief Scientist of Solar Energy, formerly Chief Scientist (served as Vice President of Engineering since 1994), ASE Americas (now out of existence, purchased by RWE). At RWE SCHOTT SOLAR, Inc. Juris served as chief scientist. This company is a subsidiary of the largest electric / water utility in Germany and is its solar photovoltaics systems firm; it is a major PV producer and one of the fastest growing companies in international and national commerce. Juris holds five patents and contributes to many scientific journals. He is now a private consultant, president / CEO of JPK Consultants, and is president / CEO of American Solar Technologies, a new Corporation. His doctorate is in physics.

  Mr. Derek Parker FAIA RIBA FACHA: President of EI, Member Investor and CEO of Medergy, Inc. Derek was a senior partner in the international architectural firm, Anshen+Allen, and he brings a special proven leadership through his many diverse projects.  He continually improves methodologies in management dealing with very complex large planning, design, and construction systems on an international scale with extensive awards. He has worked with 5 technologically and diverse nations, especially China, in the past decade. His firm operates from London to Australia. He was architect for the Georgetown University 300kW solar building. Derek holds a diplomate architecture degree (Britain).

  Dr. Thomas M. Maloney: EI Member, Fuel Cell Expert was Marketing Manager for Proton Energy Systems, Inc.  Now he is Senior Project Manager of Power Systems, United Technologies. He has had vast experience as the technical lead on contracts from NASA Lewis Research Lab for various fuel cell types, and as the technical project manager for Advanced Research Programs Agency (ARPA) for the development of laboratory research, component development, and PEM fuel cell upgrade for the NASA Shuttle. He was a key member of the Solar Fuel Cell Regeneration proof-of-concept at Edwards AFB. His doctorate is in chemical engineering (doctoral thesis was on solid oxide fuel cells).

  Mr. Paul R. Prokopius: EI Program Manager and Fuel Cell Systems Expert, literally "Mr. US Fuel Cells". From NASA fuel cell research to the management of the entire DOE funded NASA phosphoric acid fuel cell program, to the ARPA unmanned underwater vehicle power program, to the logistic fuels for all types of fuel cells, to the key multi-agency consortium Solar Fuel Cell Regenerative Program proof-of-concept at Edwards AFB, CA. He is a much sought after consultant. DOE, DOD, and NASA, call on him constantly to keep them abreast of this technology continually performing due diligence on this technology. He holds an MSES degree.

  Mr. Robert A. Freling: EI Member, Marketing Advisor Solar Energy, Executive Director of the Solar Solar Electric Light Fund (SELF). SELF has been very successful in providing rural solar power applications literally around the world in developing countries. One example: 1,000 solar homes in Gansu Province, China. He is fluent in Russian, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, and Indonesian. EI looks for his assistance in world marketing. He has an MA in Communications Management.

  Mr. Richard L. Vogel: EI Member Investor, Chief Executive Construction Manager, Senior Vice President of the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.  Whiting-Turner is the largest general contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region, as ranked by Mid-Atlantic Construction Magazine, and the 5h largest “Domestic Building Contractor” in the United States, as ranked by Engineering News Record.  Whiting-Turner has 29 offices nationwide, 2008 revenues of $4.2 billion, and a $4 billion bonding capacity.  Mr. Vogel manages Whiting-Turner’s Mid-Atlantic Division (one of 8 divisions of the company), which includes the Washington, DC office and three offices in Virginia: Richmond, Chantilly, and Norfolk.  Whiting-Turner is an employee-owned company, debt free company, that manages construction projects in diverse fields, such as, industrial plants,  biotech facilities, hospitals and health care facilities, office buildings, education facilities (grade school through university level), retail malls, embassies, federal and state government projects, including military work,, biotech facilities, hospitals and health care facilities, embassies, federal and state government projects, and many others. An example of their high-tech plant work is the $500 Million chip plant they completed for IBM at Fishkill, NY, the majority of which was completed within 2 years.   Dr. Marvin Warshay: EI Member Investor, Fuel Cell Systems Expert, was Chief of the Electro-Chemical Technology Branch, and Chief of Solar Dynamic Programs at NASA Lewis (now Glenn) Research Center.  He managed all the major development of fuel cell systems and batteries for NASA; he managed DOE, DOD, ARPA and contributed to Georgetown University's Fuel Cell Bus Program, and many others. His doctorate is in chemical engineering.

  Dr. Antonio Betancourt: EI Member Investor, Chief Marketing Officer is Secretary General of the Summit Council for World Peace; Executive Director of the Office of Government Relations for the Family Federation for World Peace, and President of the World Institute for Development and Peace. As executive of these organizations, he organizes and coordinates forums and programs for former heads of states, prime ministers, and renowned dignitaries from the Middle East and Islamic World, China, the C.I.S., Europe, Latin and North America.  He provides EI marketing leadership.

  Mr. H. F. W. Perk: EI Member Investor, Chairman Alternate, Co-Inventor and Facilitator Design Scientist, Buckminster Fuller Institute Advisory Board Member, Professor Emeritus at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, IL. His MS and PhD work was at USC and UCLA. He was a member of the research staff of the RAND Corporation, Lockheed Electronics Corp. He has directed studies at NAS for more than 10 years on the testing of complex mixtures, the assessment of contaminants in drinking water, the development of biological markers, the use of pharmacokinetics in risk management, acceptable exposure levels of environmental contaminants in spacecraft and submarines, the recommendation of acceptable levels of chemical exposure for military personnel, and the development of new methods for risk assessment.

He was responsible for development of the basic mechanistic studies at the NAS/NRC that resulted in the 5 volume series on the use of biological markers in toxicology. He has directed toxicologic studies at Borriston Laboratories, the Mitre Corp., SRI International, and CIBA-GEIGY Corp. He has chaired or served on committees dealing with the review and evaluation of toxicity studies, the development of new test protocols, and the emergency response to chemical accidents, Besides his extensive involvement in National Scientific programs, he has had wide international experience in programs of toxicity testing, emergency response, standard setting, and regulatory affairs including work with the UN, USAID, WHO,  and the World Bank.   John R. Johnson: Mechanical / Robotics Special Consultant, is a problem solver technical integrator of diverse technologies operating a creative team as a systems integrator. He was CEO of an innovative construction company. John served as a consultant in industrial automation and robotics, assisted design of automatic control systems in industrial applications for chemical plants, breweries, and automobile production. He taught industrial automation and computer design at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has an international reputation for industrial automation and control. John designed modular dwelling units. He was Director of Research for a medical electronics company.  Currently he is responsible for computer networking and internetworking at SIUC. He has an engineering degree is from the University of Minnesota, an MA in Economics, and completed PhD course work at SIUC.

  Mr. Richard Theodor Kusiolek: EI Member, Telecommunications Chief, President and Chairman, TransGlobal Net, Inc.. (TGN). Richard has more than 20 years of experience in the voice data convergence with a focus on Satellite and Terrestrial wireless communications networks, quick cycle technology new product introductions, Project Management, and Strategic Marketing Management. He was an early pioneer of voice-data convergence and wireless technologies for the Enterprise of Silicon Valley of Northern California. Adjunct Professor Kusiolek proposed to the Clinton Administration  and the Pete Wilson Administration the first “High Technology City” for California’s Silicon Valley. The TGN Company was sponsored under the Clinton Administration’s Advanced Technology Program in 1994. The proposal was the catalyst for the many initiatives that enhanced the Information Highway. Three of those initiatives were “Digital Command and Control”, “PowerCom parks”.\, and “ Multi-Media High Tech City”. Richard had participated in the defense telecommunications transition as a key of the of the Joint Venture Silicon Valley Space Defense Consortium’s Wireless Group, and in the FSU Defense Conversion Programs. Richard was anactive member of the Wireless Alliance, and as a participant in the Canadian Ministry’s Inter-Regional Collaboration on Telecommunications Technology. Mr. Kusiolek has been an expert seminar speaker at the Satellite Communication conferences in Singapore, China, and Strategy Board and an associate member of the Committee on Space Research (COSPAR). Professor Kusiolek’s research has focused on Space Solar Power Satellite IP Broadband applications and energy systems for Earth and Planets Habitats.   Mr. Rowland Brohawn: EI Member, Webmaster/Graphics Designer. He is a graphic designer with over 24 years experience in visual communications in a wide variety of media including print, computer, and television. Has received top national awards from the print industry for his creative packaging design. He has served corporate and non-profit clients, designing and maintaining websites and organizational identity programs. He is a board member of the Center for Economic and Social Justice and TV America, where his design talents have been employed in groundbreaking expanded capital ownership projects and the introduction of advanced technologies. His talents served the Presidential Task Force on Project Economic Justice and the New Birth Project for citizens of the District of Columbia.

  Hon. Reverend Walter Fauntroy: EI Member General Advisor, former Member of Congress (D, DC) 20 years, Chairman Banking and Finance Committee, Pastor New Bethel Baptist Church, DC.  Walter is a famous civil rights national leader, and President of the National Black Leadership Conference. He has been an important developer of the University of the District of Columbia. His achievements in lawmaking in the pursuit of economic and social justice are legion. He is a personal friend of statesmen and world leaders. He is a most important visionary and effective respected leader. He was appointed by the President to be the DC Representative leader for faith-based initiatives.  Walter was a key figure with Martin Luther King, Jr. in the civil rights struggle and is a beloved national icon.

  Ms. Joni M. Reeves: Special Consultant Program Management.  Joni brings more than 16 years of progressive experience in project management and is a proven performer in military, government contract, small business, Fortune 500, and Academia arenas. She is a Certified Project Manager PMP, change agent who is results-oriented, self-motivated, has strong integrity and is conscientious.   Clarence W. Pearson, FAIA Architect: is EI Member Investor, Chief Executive Officer for Architecture/Engineering, with 28 years of experience in architecture, construction, and investment in real estate property. Clarence was a principal in the firm of Pearson, Johnson, Brown and Associates. He has served on the faculty of the University of the District of Columbia where he has served as appointed Chairman for 18 years. Mr. Pearson has extensive experience in design and management. He has major experience in residential, commercial, civil, and institutional structures. His experience and expertise allows him to offer and provide services well beyond regular architect-engineer management. Clarence has won numerous awards for his outstanding contributions to a variety of professionals, civic, and social organizations. His well-diversified background includes continuing education in commercial code and contract law, computer-aided architectural design and management, interactive computer systems, and construction management. He has worked on a wide variety of very large convention centers, correctional institution master planning, custom-designed residences and apartment complexes. He holds a BA degree in Architectural Engineering from Hampton Institute and an MA degree in Urban Design from Catholic University. Clarence has shared his talents and experience to educate and encourage the young. He has passion for education, is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and belongs to the American Institute of Architects, National Technical Association, National Organization of Minority Architects, National Education Association, American Association of University Professors, and the National Society of Historic Preservation. 

  Brent P. Ritzel: EI Member, Public Education, Marketing & Quality Assurance: Currently is Managing Partner at  Solution Factory, a renewable energy, marketing and PR consulting firm, and is President of the Board of the R. Buckminster  Fuller Dome Not For Profit (RBF Dome NFP) in Carbondale Illinois. He brings to  the table 18 years of entrepreneurial experience and extensive training in innovative strategic process creation, market leading product development, community building, managing sales processes and sales teams, business planning and event organization for a variety of product development, media, entertainment and arts-related companies. As the CEO and owner of two influential, Chicago based, independent record labels during the first half of the 1990’s, Brent spearheaded the release of over 40 releases from 16 different bands, five of which went on to get signed to major labels. Over the next decade Brent published and edited over 40 issues of two internationally distributed print periodicals, including Zine Guide , which served as the world’s top resource guide to the independent press. Brent also created the non-profit Self-Publishers Events Council of Chicago, and was a mayoral selection onto the Evanston Arts Council, where he served as the Chairperson of the Events Committee. Brent received his BA in Philosophy from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois under the mentorship of renowned Wittgenstein prote’ge Dr. Stephen Toulmin, and did graduate work at Loyola University in Chicago.  

  Damien I. Johnston: EI Member, Database Administration. Principal, LEAD Database Systems, LLC. Damien has provided information technology services to many vertical industries / markets including pharmaceutical, medical, financial, insurance, and real estate. He has serviced these markets in the Philadelphia area for ten years, services have included design, development, and administration of IT Systems, as well as IT project management to improve business process flow. His area of focus is bringing software from design to a marketable product. Damien is a certified database administrator and database developer.                                                                                                     

  Kemp R. Harshman, Esq. EI Legal Counsel: Member U.S. Supreme Court Bar. Kemp is a graduate of the University of Michigan; he completed undergraduate studies at Indiana University and holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan. Kemp served as in-house legal counsel for a consulting firm, federal agencies, federally chartered corporations, a public interest law firm, and non-profit organizations. He served as a staff counsel for three Presidential Inaugural Committees, the Deputy General Counsel for the Council on Environmental Quality, an agency in the Executive Office of the President, and the legal counsel for the Commission on the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution. He worked for the Commission Chairman, Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren E. Burger. Kemp is currently serving as President of a non-profit organization, which has assisted educational institutions in obtaining free instructional television programming and broadband Internet access services. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors Center for Economic and Social Justice.  Kemp’s Clarendon Foundation created ‘The History Channel” working with wireless cable operators to provide instructional programming about American history and government to schools in markets where it held FCC–issued licenses. The free service branded by Clarendon as “The History Channel” was originated by Kemp. The History Channel was registered as a Federal trademark in 1991, and assigned to the Arts and Entertainment networks in 1993. Clarendon then registered a trademark TV America providing public interest programming produced by non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies and departments. Programming is transmitted over wireless broadband networks and online over the Internet with multicast video technology. The foundation currently holds FCC licenses for Educational Broadband Service Channel Groups in 21 US markets, including Las Vegas, Columbus, and Milwaukee. Clarendon is working with Sprint-Nextel, Clearwire, and Xanadu to roll out wireless broadband Internet access (WiMAX) service in its licensed broadcast areas. It is also supporting the development of multicast video streaming technology that can be used to broadcast full screen TV over the new Internet Protocol 9Ipv6), which will be deployed in the next few years. Clarendon provided the American Physical Society copyright clearance for all the images used in 20th Century timeline and wall chart about the history of physics. Clarendon assisted production of documentary TV programs for Presidents Jimmy Carter, George HW Bush, and Ronald Reagan.

Dean is co-inventor of US Patent #6,308,465, Oct. 30, 2001, and EURO Patent #1212495, June 12, 2002 for "Systems and Utilities Modules for Buildings", assigned to EI.  He is inventor of record with co-inventors Dr. Terry Galloway and Bill Perk for the newly released now in final printing Patent USPTO 11/166,930 “Process and System for Converting Biomass Materials Into Energy to Power Marine Vessels; and father of US Patent # 3,670,764 (Tindal), June 20, 1972, “Building Utility and Service System". Dean is an Architect AIA AUA Emeritus with more than 50 years licensed professional experience. At Georgetown University, as University Architect and Director of Planning, Dean created the National Exemplar Integrated Community Energy System (NEICES), the first sustainable stand-alone University Master Energy Plan integrated with his Bicentennial Master Plan 1989 . He was President and CEO of his own architectural practice (San Francisco area and DC) for 18 years (1951-68), produced over 100 projects in the facility types of: Education (elementary, high schools), churches, hospitals, medical offices and related facilities, institutions, commercial (including veterinary, shopping centers, etc.). His awards include First Place, Co-Winner, National Design Award (AIA) for the design and construction of the Defense Language Institute, Presidio of Monterey (1968). Dean pioneered advanced facility systems design and planning criteria for the US Bureau of the Budget and the VA Department of Medicine and Surgery; examples include a $30 million 800-bed VA hospital and research facility at San Diego, CA. This work on mitigating hospital obsolescence was noticed by North American Rockwell (NAR) and Dean was hired as Superintendent and Scientific Advisor of a 200-man team, composed of key scientists and engineers from Apollo and Space Divisions NAR, in Life Sciences, R&E Division, Autonetics.  Dean led the Advanced Hospital Design-including robotics- for a proposed Advanced NAR 150-bed hospital (for NAR 40,000 beneficiaries) at Laguna Niguel, CA, to display NAR Space Technology.  In 1970 he began his tenure as Georgetown University’s first University Architect where he combined technical aerospace experience with architectural expertise and developed a renewable self-sufficient master energy plan (fuel cell-based) that was integrated into the University's Bicentennial Facilities Master Plan (1990). Dean managed many construction projects and served as Counselor to the President for Federal Relations. He was Principal Investigator and creator for: first Academic Bldg. 300kW Solar (1983); the first 10MW Clean Coal Atmospheric Fluidized Bed project; the first Liquid Fueled Fuel Cell Heavy Duty Bus (30ft), and provided the basis for the on-going Advanced Vehicle Dept. with 40ft Fuel Cell Bus Program, managed the University's program for the Solar Fuel Cell Regeneration proof-of-Concept at Edwards AFB, CA, with NASA / JPL. Dean received the University President’s Medal, Special President' s Citation, Gold University 20-year Service Medal. He served on the National Science Foundation, Building Research Board, National Research Council Commission on Engineering and Technical Systems 1992-93. The product of this Commission was "The Fourth Dimension in Building: Strategies for Minimizing Obsolescence" National Academy Press 1993.  He continued as Federal Relations Counselor to the President for 11 years. Dean holds a Graduate in Honors B. Arch. Degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
